2:31-- Dr. Tapan Kumar Jena: In the above discussion, Man making, is the key. Let us start the key to man making i.e. preparing girls for future motherhood who will shape the world.

Kumaari aktu bada halei purush chhunte nei, Jathaa sambhav ar paalanai unnayaner khei (Anushruti1: Purush o naari:16)
2:34-- Dr. DC Patra: When a girl becomes of age, she should be away from male contact. To the extent possible, this is to be practised and this is key to progression.
1:24-- Dr. DC Patra: Jaiguru. May the Lord lead us!
1:31-- Dr. DC Patra: Before we start discussing the topic of the day, may I like to announce that we have 26 days left for the Conference at Balasore. You all would have got the 'brochure' and 'approach paper'. Dear Dipangshu da also gave a link where all pre-conference literature are stored. At the cost of repeatation, may I announce that this conference, 2nd in its series, will be held in the Institute's own premise, which is under construction and nearing completion. Some brothers are working at a very high level of dedication to make this Conference meet its objective. I request all to contribute to it: a) by writing a piece of article; b) by contributing and mobilsing funds. Above all, such events provide us huge opportunity for 'yaajan' and 'ista-karma' (love labor for the Lord). Sri Sri Thakur is watching!
1:34-- Dipangshu Maitra: Jaiguru Debeshda and Giri Da
1:35-- Kamalendu Giri: Jayguru to all !!!
1:35-- Dr. Tapan Kumar Jena: Jaiguru to all.
1:35-- Brajesh Nandan Jha: Jaiguru to all my param Shradheya Guru Bhrata and Guru Bhai.
1:35-- Bishnubiva Pradhan: Jaiguru to all!
1:36-- Dr. DC Patra: Dear Tapan babu will provide outline on the basis of which today's discussion will follow. I am only writing a preface to today's topic at a feelings level. Sri Sri Thakur, the merciful Lord, has touched all aspects of life to make life progressive. As life is complex, so is Sri Sri Thakur's ideology. Even a complex life is lived by us day by day, similarly Sri Sri Thakur's ideology is to be put to practice bit by bit every day. Graceful Thakur is with us in our step by step journey.
1:37-- Prakash Chandra Sing: Jaiguru to all
1:38-- Dr. Tapan Kumar Jena: The issues related to the topic are:

1. What is meant by ‘aktu bada halei’ (a little grown up)?
2. What is the implication of ‘males should not touch her’?
3. Who all are included under the caption ‘purush’(male)?
4. How is prosperity linked with the restriction of touching the grown up girl?
5. How can the dicta be implemented in the society?
1:38-- Dr. Tapan Kumar Jena: 1. What is meant by ‘aktu bada halei’ (a little grown up)?
Attain puberty i.e. age of 9-10.
1:41-- Dr. DC Patra: What I feel, the time of coming age, is beyond the age when a child no more needs physical nursing.
1:43-- Dr. Tapan Kumar Jena: yes, it could be even before puberty.
1:43-- Dr. Tapan Kumar Jena: 2. What is the implication of ‘males should not touch her’?
Thakur here hints at helping the girls to maintain pure chastity.
1:45-- Prashant Kumar Saini: jai guru to all
1:46-- Dr. Tapan Kumar Jena: Chastity has many dimensions. At Thinking level, talking, touching, visual, etc. Where as visual and thinking are limited to person itself, society can help in maintaining physical chastity.

Usually today chastity has been limited to virginity i.e sexual intercourse with only one person. Thakur wants the physical chastity even at touching level.
1:48-- Brajesh Nandan Jha: Yes, we should remain away from Kamini Kanchan.
1:49-- Dr. DC Patra: 2nd point is touch. Prohibition of touch is a prevention to develop attraction between a boy and a girl by physical touch. At a nascent stage, it is hard to differentiate between 'good touch' and 'bad touch'; because the difference between good and bad happens in the mind, which can not be seen and discriminated. Therefore, perhaps, Sri Sri Thakur has prevented the possibility of any attraction at a premature stage through contact.
1:49-- Dr. Tapan Kumar Jena: Many cultural issues may come into picture here. Hand shake, embracing at first visit, kissing etc. In Indian culture, all tehse are not practiced. Thakur hints to mainatin Indian culture in its pure form
1:50-- Brajesh Nandan Jha: Copied Da
1:51-- Dr. DC Patra: Sri Sri Thakur's concept of purity at a thought level has to be brought in here. Tapan babu has done it @7.16.
1:56-- Dr. DC Patra: 3rd point is 'purush'. Here Sri Sri Thakur said to include all male members (opposite sex) except parents.
1:56-- Brajesh Nandan Jha: ie. mother and father only.
1:56-- Dr. Tapan Kumar Jena: The existential urge and procreation for existing eternally are very basic ingredients of satta. So, all stimuli that promoted unrestricted journey for union at physical/mental level needs to be restricted through social manoeuvre.. The cultural guidelines are aimed at that. But today society has forgot the objective of these social restriction. In the name of freedom, we are promoting our ‘unrestricted complexes’ at the cost of ‘conscientious behaviour’ aiming at evolution of human being.
1:58-- Dr. DC Patra: Very basic issue raised by Tapan babu @7.26.
2:00-- Dr. Tapan Kumar Jena: Thakur has used the word 'jathaa samvab' ( as far as possible). So, here the judgement has to be according to the situation. Therefore, except the situational need, the word 'purush' must include all males including brothers and father.
2:01-- Dipangshu Maitra: Unmarried girls should adhered to her father. She should give service to him help him. She has to discuss with him and talk to him this is the first step of matured progression. (Kumaritwe: Narir Niti: P-5).
2:02-- Dr. DC Patra: If any intervention is to be done at society level, of course it has to start at indiviudal and family level; but it also has to take the shape of a social movement.
2:04-- Dr. DC Patra: We have to present the charm of Sri Sri Thakur in a creative way, so that society will see what is there in.
2:04-- Dr. Tapan Kumar Jena: WE have come across ghastly news of father raping daughters both in Indian context and abroad. Indeed, the overcrowding is defined as " when opposite sex other than husband and wife are forced to sleep in the same room for more than 9 years' Here the word used is 'forced to sleep'. But in essence it can be interpreted that a 9 year child should be treated as grown up.
2:06-- Bishnubiva Pradhan: Is there any upper limit of the age of a girl, till that point male should not touch her? I heard somewhere that once a girl attains motherhood, then the so called physical touch is not considered as guilty. Any comment?
2:07-- Dr. Tapan Kumar Jena: Yes, Father has to nurture the daughter. as mentioned by Dipangshuda, daughter will learn from Father. Therefore, Thakur has used the word 'jathaa samvab' ( as far as possible). Father should know the limit of contact.
2:09-- Dr. Tapan Kumar Jena: Bishnubiva at 7.36. The intention of touch is important. For mother and son, the touch will remain toll death.
2:09-- Dr. Tapan Kumar Jena: till death.
2:10-- Dr. Tapan Kumar Jena: 4. How is prosperity linked with the restriction of touching the grown up girl?
The touch is aimed at helping to maintain chastity. The link is with good progeny and hence with prosperity of nation.
2:11-- Dr. DC Patra: Another point is perhaps relevant here. Complexes can not be controlled or supressed. These can only be channelised, changed direction, by developing love for the Lord, by being engaged in works dedicated for Him. Here again comes the practice of 'yajan' and 'yaajan'.
2:12-- Dr. Tapan Kumar Jena: Yes, this is what is important here to practice at in a family situation.
2:12-- Bishnubiva Pradhan: Agree Tapan da, in case of son and mother it is acceptable. Am asking in general case? Say, there is no such bad intention in touch, is it acceptable?
2:13-- Dr. DC Patra: Here prosperity means psychological well being, progressive social condition and evolutionary path of human kind.
2:13-- Bishnubiva Pradhan: Here prosperity (unnayaner khei) indicated to a boy/ girl (or) both?
2:18-- Dr. DC Patra: Bishnubiva - prosperity or well being referes to both boy and girl. Responsibility of mainting distance and resepct for each other is on both sides. Similarly, consequence is on both.
2:19-- Bishnubiva Pradhan: Agree Debesh Da,
2:19-- Dr. Tapan Kumar Jena: Bishnubiva at 7.42; In ‘ Holybook’ Thakur hints that ‘kamini-kanchan’ are like two big holes on the both sides of the road in which you have to move. Slightest in attention will make you fall in the hole.

If we discuss, see, listen anything related to these, our intention will grow towards that. Therefore, even in the family teaching or friendly discourses, these topics have a effect on mind.
2:21-- Dr. Tapan Kumar Jena: 5. How can the dicta be implemented in the society?
The present society has forgot Indian traditions. . co-education needs to be stopped. Female education needs a lot of revamping. syllabus needs radical change. Also the implementation process. Females have a very important role in ‘Female education’.
2:22-- Dr. DC Patra: Coming to the last point, which is social implementation of all these; we need to work as a force in the society to create awareness about all the aspects of Sri Sri Thakur's ideology, particularly with respect to building good person with balanced mind and progressive outlook.
2:26-- Dipangshu Maitra: Seeing the present trend among the boys and girls all over the world it is a Himalayan task to present before the society what actually Thakur said for the prosperity of human both male and female about their behavior, their service and paying respect etc. As Thakur said the root is again the proper marriage unless it is fixed and regulated it is next ti impossible to rectify.
2:28-- Dr. Tapan Kumar Jena: We have to keep another thing in mind. Rules are for general situations. Exceptional situations has to be dealt differently. What happens when a girl meets accident? A disabled child? A girl in danger?

There are hundreds of such examples. But the guidelines are very clear. ‘As far as possible’.
So, in all circumstances, it is the duty of society to help girls to mainatin their chastity and help her to be the mother of a ‘ideal human being’ and be fulfilled while simultaneously fulfilling the nation.

Motherhood is inherent with all girls. Let us help her to achieve that with all purity.
2:29-- Dr. Tapan Kumar Jena: Yes, as mentioned by Dipangshuda, the root of all things if 'Man-making' which will start with 'Marriage reform".
2:31-- Dr. DC Patra: It was a very broadbased and rich discussion. Tapan babu - can we have topic for next session?
2:31-- Dr. Tapan Kumar Jena: We can have for next session:

Swbhaba-gunei abhaba nasta, ataa kintu khanti spasta (Anushruti1:niti:31)
2:33-- Dr. DC Patra: Poverty can be erased by one's nature (psychological make up, getting expressed in habits, behaviour and activities).
2:35-- Dr. DC Patra: 'Abhaba' - can be a state of scaricty, inadequacy; poverty is extreme of that.
2:36-- Dr. DC Patra: Jaiguru to all. May the Lord lead us!
2:36-- Prakash Chandra Sing: Todays discussion was very much useful and enlightening.Thanx Tapan Babu. Jaiguru to all.
2:37-- Dr. Tapan Kumar Jena: can it be like this? This is absolutey true that Poverty/scarcity can be erased by one's natural quality.
2:37-- Dr. DC Patra: Yes Tapan babu. you are right.
2:37-- Dr. Tapan Kumar Jena: Jaiguru.
2:38-- Dr. Tapan Kumar Jena: Ok. Jaiguru.
2:40-- Dipangshu Maitra: Jaiguru to all. Bande Purushottamam.
2:40-- Kamalendu Giri: Jaiguru to all, "Bonde Purushottomam" !!!
2:40-- Bishnubiva Pradhan: Jaiguru to all!! BANDE PURUSHOTTAMAM.
2:44-- Prakash Chandra Sing: Vande Purushottamam
